My story is one of redemption, resilience, and a calling that refused to let go. I was raised in a Christian home as a preacher’s daughter, surrounded by faith, prayer, and service. But like many people, my adult life took unexpected turns.

I was abandoned by my birth parents- left on the street with my sister, who was just one year older than me. I was only two years old. But the, God came along, Today, my wife and have a deep heart for children who don’t experience a “normal” family life. We have learned that you never look into the eyes of a person that God does not love.”

I am a photographer, wife and mother with a heart for serving others, I currently serve as the Secretary for Kingdom Konnex. I am honored to help support our mission. I’m passionate about helping kids and animals, and when Kim shared her vision for starting this nonprofit, I knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of it. Everyday, I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute something that truly makes a difference.

My story is one of redemption, resilience, and a calling that refused to let go. I was raised in a Christian home as a preacher’s daughter, surrounded by faith, prayer, and service. But like many people, my adult life took unexpected turns.

I married my husband, Mike, in 1988. The early years of our marriage were filled with struggle, instability, and eventually addiction. By 1999, both of us had become deeply entangled in substance abuse, which led to arrests, brokenness, and a season of profound emotional and spiritual darkness.

In 2000, I reached a turning point, standing at a crossroads that would determine the rest of my life. I was broken, scared, and unsure of what my future held. Mike was sentenced to prison, and I was also placed on probation. I faced the devastating loss of my children to Child Protective Services. My children experienced loss from separation, fear, confusion, and heartbreak as they watched our home be torn apart by arrests and uncertainty, longing for safety and stability. But through the support of my family, a compassionate probation officer who believed in me, and the undeniable grace of God, I was able to find my way back. I fought to regain custody of my children, rebuilt our family, and restored trust and faith—not only with my children, but with my entire family.
